Community generosity shines as Long Table Curaçao raises $50,000 for five local charities
WILLEMSTAD – The third annual Long Table Curaçao, Wind Creek Curaçao's signature culinary charity event, once again brought the community together for an unforgettable evening of dining, connection, and giving back. This year's edition raised an impressive $50,000 for five local charities, reinforcing the event's growing impact and the island's spirit of generosity.
The event showcased the power of community giving, with $39,000 generated through ticket sales and an additional $11,000 contributed by Wind Creek Curaçao, bringing the total amount donated to $50,000.
The highly anticipated event once again transformed the space in front of Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort into a spectacular open-air dining venue centered around the resort's iconic fountain in the heart of downtown Willemstad. Guests came together for an elegant culinary experience, celebrating the joy of sharing a meal while contributing to a meaningful cause.

Building on the success of its first two editions, the third annual Long Table Curaçao continued to combine a memorable dining experience with a powerful purpose, giving back to the community.
The Return of the Long Table Video Contest
One of the highlights of this year's edition was the reintroduction of the Long Table Curaçao Video Contest, offering all local charities the opportunity to participate and share their stories with the community.
Through the contest, charitable organizations were invited to submit a short video showcasing their mission, the people they serve, and the impact of their work on the island. The initiative provided a platform for local organizations to raise awareness while encouraging the community to become actively involved in supporting causes close to their hearts.
Residents were invited to cast their votes for their favorite organizations, placing the decision directly in the hands of the Curaçao community. Following the public voting period, five charities emerged as finalists, with one organization receiving an overwhelming level of support and securing the highest number of votes.
The charity that captured the most votes received the grand prize of $15,000, while the remaining four finalists were each awarded $8,750, ensuring that all five organizations received meaningful financial support to continue their valuable work.
The five winning charities were:
• Grand Prize – $15,000: Bright Club Curaçao
• Finalist – $8,750: CliniClowns Curaçao
• Finalist – $8,750: Coral Reef Restoration Team Curaçao Foundation
• Finalist – $8,750: SGR Groep
• Finalist – $8,750: Sea Turtle Conservation Curaçao
Together, these five organizations received the full $50,000 raised through Long Table Curaçao.
