WILLEMSTAD – On Thursday, May 7, 2026, the Veteranen Vereniging Curaçao paid a visit to the Governor of Curaçao, His Excellency Mauritsz de Kort.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the activities organized by and for members of the association, as well as the important social role veterans play within the Curaçao community.
The Veterans Association Curaçao is committed to representing the interests of veterans and strengthening connections among former service members on the island. The association also organizes Curaçao’s annual Veterans Day, an event dedicated to recognition and appreciation for all those who have served the Kingdom.
Membership in the association is open to former military personnel who have participated in missions abroad, as well as former members of the Vrijwilligerskorps Curaçao and former members of the Curaçao Militia.
