WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao’s Traffic and Transport Service (UOVV) has announced two commission meetings later this month concerning permits in the public transportation sector.
The Taxi Commission will meet on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, while the commission responsible for tour buses and small and medium-sized buses will meet on Wednesday, September 30.
UOVV is also reminding permit holders and drivers to ensure that their documentation is up to date ahead of the meetings.
Those who have not yet submitted an application to renew their permit or auxiliary driver card can complete the process online through the website of the Ministry of Traffic, Transport and Urban Planning (VVRP).
The announcement is particularly relevant to taxi operators, tour bus companies and operators of small and medium-sized buses whose permits or driver documentation require renewal.
UOVV did not provide additional details regarding the specific applications or other matters that will be considered during the two commission meetings.
