WILLEMSTAD – SV Victory Boys has been crowned champion of the FFK Women’s Championship 2025/2026 after completing the entire competition without a single defeat, giving the Santa Rosa club the national women’s football title.
Victory Boys capped its undefeated campaign with a 2-0 victory in the final. Kaylin Sprok opened the scoring before Kadisha Martina added the second goal to secure the championship.
The title represents an important milestone in Victory Boys’ broader effort to strengthen women’s football within the club. The organization has adopted the principle that its men’s and women’s teams should have equal standing, with that approach reflected in training standards, coaching, access to facilities and opportunities for players to develop.
Under its “Her Story Matters” initiative, Victory Boys is also seeking to create opportunities for women beyond playing football. Female players are being introduced to other roles within the sport, including coaching, team management, refereeing, administration and technical and organizational positions.
“Women’s football has secured a permanent place in world football. Curaçao also has a lot of talent,” Victory Boys President Hassnah Elhage said. “By combining that talent with good guidance, international cooperation and the direction Victory Boys has chosen, we want to offer players new opportunities.”
Elhage said the club also intends to continue playing an important role in the development of women’s football in Curaçao and the wider region.
As part of that strategy, Victory Boys is launching two new girls’ teams at the U15 and U17 levels. The club wants to establish a clear development pathway from youth football to its senior women’s team and, for its strongest talents, potentially to opportunities abroad.

Victory Boys is also using its international football network to expose players to different competitive environments and potential professional pathways.
The club is currently discussing two international opportunities: participation in a tournament in Spain and a development program in Italy. More details are expected to be announced later.
Victory Boys said international competition and cooperation will become a structural part of its women’s football program in the coming years, while emphasizing that player development will take priority over promises of overseas opportunities.
Following its undefeated championship run, Victory Boys is now preparing for the Kopa Kòrsou. Both the women’s and men’s teams will compete, with the Santa Rosa club hoping to add another trophy to its season.
