WILLEMSTAD – The two Ukrainian women who were arrested on Curaçao last Saturday following widely circulated social media videos have been released.
The suspects, both 36 years old and identified by the initials M.S.K. and A.S.K., were released on the order of an examining magistrate. The reason for their release has not been disclosed.
Despite their release, the women remain suspects in the ongoing investigation.
Their arrest sparked significant public outrage after videos went viral online showing the women allegedly littering in public areas, attempting to set a bench on fire, and engaging in inappropriate behavior.
