WILLEMSTAD – The Public Works Service (OW) has started a two-week cleanup operation along Weg naar Welgelegen as part of efforts to clear vegetation and improve conditions along the busy road.
Work began on August 25 and will focus on cleaning both the median and the sides of the road.
Contractor Destin Limpiesa i Transport has been assigned to carry out the project. The work includes removing grass, weeds and other vegetation that has accumulated along the roadway.
The cleanup is expected to continue for approximately two weeks.
Public Works is urging motorists traveling along Weg naar Welgelegen to exercise additional caution while the work is underway, particularly in areas where cleanup crews are operating close to traffic.
Drivers should remain alert for workers and equipment along the roadway throughout the duration of the project.
