Two Arrested in Separate Cases of Domestic Violence and Vandalism

WILLEMSTAD – Police arrested two individuals on Wednesday in connection with separate criminal incidents involving domestic violence and property damage.

In the first case, a 43-year-old man was taken into custody on Frater Radulpusweg during the afternoon. He is suspected of involvement in a serious domestic violence incident that allegedly occurred at the end of May.

According to police, the investigation concerns allegations of assault and death threats made against the victim. Authorities did not release additional details about the circumstances surrounding the case, citing the ongoing investigation.

Earlier in the day, officers were called to the Wishi neighborhood following reports of vandalism. Upon arrival, police discovered that a 39-year-old woman had allegedly caused extensive damage to a vehicle belonging to her neighbors.

The woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of destruction of property.

Both suspects were later brought before an assistant public prosecutor and remain in custody while investigations continue.

Police have not released further information regarding the motives behind either incident.
