WILLEMSTAD – TUI BLUE Curaçao has celebrated the graduation of 80 newly trained hospitality professionals, marking a major milestone as the resort prepares for its official opening later this year.

Training and Development of Local Talent

The graduates successfully completed an intensive one-month training program focused on hospitality, guest experience, operational procedures, teamwork, and service standards aligned with the TUI BLUE brand philosophy.

A significant majority of the graduates—90 percent—are from Curaçao, while approximately 40 percent come from the Bandabou region. The figures highlight TUI BLUE Curaçao’s commitment to creating employment opportunities and investing in local talent, with a particular focus on supporting the Bandabou community.

“This graduation ceremony represents much more than the completion of a training program,” said Robbin Vogels, General Manager of TUI BLUE Curaçao. “It reflects our commitment to investing in the people of Curaçao and establishing a strong service culture from day one. We are proud to welcome these talented team members as the foundation of the TUI BLUE Curaçao family.”

Investing in the Future of Curaçao’s Hospitality Industry

The ceremony celebrated the achievements of the newly trained employees while also emphasizing the important role hospitality training plays in supporting Curaçao’s tourism sector and long-term economic development.

As one of the island’s newest luxury hospitality destinations, TUI BLUE Curaçao has begun investing in people even before officially opening its doors. Through local recruitment efforts and comprehensive pre-opening training programs, the resort aims to create sustainable employment opportunities while contributing to higher hospitality standards across the island.

TUI BLUE Curaçao is currently preparing for its official opening on September 1, 2026. The resort aims to combine international hospitality standards with authentic local service and strong community engagement, positioning itself as a new addition to Curaçao’s growing tourism sector.
