WILLEMSTAD - The vacation season has begun, and many Curaçao residents are preparing to travel abroad for holidays, family visits, or other purposes. The Public Prosecution Service (OM) wishes everyone a pleasant and safe journey.
At the same time, the Public Prosecution Service reminds all travelers to check before departure whether they have any outstanding fines or other obligations with the OM. Anyone with unpaid fines is strongly advised to settle them in advance.
Paying outstanding fines before traveling helps prevent additional penalties, as well as unnecessary delays or other inconveniences at the airport. Travelers are therefore encouraged not to wait until the last minute.
Outstanding fines can be paid at the Paga bo But office, located at Abraham Chumaceiro Boulevard 11 in Waaigat, above Curoil. The office's new opening hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. On Fridays, the office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Payments at the office can only be made by bank card; cash is not accepted.
Fines can also be paid online by transferring the amount to MCB account number 23329801, through Pagafasil, or by using Sentoo. Be sure to include the OPV reference number with your payment.
