WILLEMSTAD – On Friday, February 13, 2026, a delegation of local leaders from District 81 of Toastmasters International paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Curaçao, Mauritsz de Kort.
The Toastmasters delegation included representatives from across the ABC islands, comprising Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao. Among those present were Nathaly Lobato-de Windt, Club Growth Director; Esther Germany, DTM and Division A Director; Godalys Reina, DTM and Past Region Advisor; as well as Area Directors Jessica Pinedo (Area 2), Nedra Manuel (Area 3), Anushka Ortega (Area 4), Valerij Susanna-Fraaij (Area 5), Marilyn Passial-Elodia, DTM (Area 6), and Roxienne Albertina, DTM and Past Division A Director.
During the visit, the delegation briefed the Governor on the activities of Toastmasters District 81, with a focus on leadership development, communication skills, and the broader social impact of these programs within the ABC islands.
The meeting highlighted the role Toastmasters plays in strengthening personal and professional development across the region and its contribution to community engagement and leadership capacity-building.
