Three Curaçao Players Named to Concacaf Nations League A Best XI

WILLEMSTAD – Three Curaçao footballers have been named among the 11 best players of the Concacaf Nations League A group stage, providing further recognition for the national team after it secured first place in its group and advanced to the quarterfinals.

Kenji Gorré and brothers Juninho and Leandro Bacuna were selected by Concacaf for its Best XI following their performances during the group stage.

Gorré was one of Curaçao’s standout attacking players, scoring four goals in four matches.

Juninho Bacuna also played a major role in the team’s success, contributing two goals and three assists during the campaign.

His brother Leandro Bacuna earned his place in the Best XI following strong performances in midfield.

Having three players selected among the competition’s top 11 highlights Curaçao’s strong performance during the group stage.

The Blue Wave finished as group winner and secured a place in the Nations League A quarterfinals, keeping Curaçao in contention as the competition moves into its next phase.
