WILLEMSTAD – Three suspects were arrested during a series of early morning police raids in the Juan Domingo neighborhood on Thursday as authorities uncovered drugs, a firearm, and a motorcycle believed to be linked to criminal activity.
During the first raid, officers seized a motocross motorcycle after the occupants of the residence were unable to explain its origin. One resident was taken into custody for questioning as part of the investigation.
In a second raid at another home in the same neighborhood, police discovered a large quantity of marijuana packaged and ready for sale. Officers also seized a firearm and other items considered important to the ongoing investigation.
Two men were arrested at that location on suspicion of drug-related offenses and illegal firearm possession.
All three suspects remain in custody while detectives continue their investigation into the case. Police have not yet released the identities of those arrested or disclosed whether additional arrests are expected.
