WILLEMSTAD – Passengers using the ferry service between Punda and Otrobanda will experience a temporary change in boarding and disembarkation procedures as maintenance work is carried out on the ferry landing in Otrobanda.
Authorities announced that the current ferry landing on the Otrobanda side will be temporarily out of service from June 19 through July 9 due to necessary maintenance works.
During this period, ferry passengers will still be able to use the service, but boarding and disembarking will take place a short distance away from the usual landing location on the Otrobanda side.
Officials emphasized that the adjustment is temporary and is necessary to allow maintenance crews to complete the required work safely and efficiently.
The ferry service, which provides an important connection between Punda and Otrobanda, will continue operating throughout the maintenance period.
Passengers are advised to follow any signs and instructions at the site and to allow for minor adjustments when using the service.
Authorities thanked the public for their understanding and cooperation while the maintenance work is being carried out.
