WILLEMSTAD – The seventh edition of the CliniClowns Fun(d)raising Open Golf Tournament has raised a record amount of more than XCG 42,000, bringing together a large group of participants and sponsors for a good cause.
The annual event took place on Saturday at the Curaçao Golf & Squash Club, where golfers competed while contributing to the work of CliniClowns Curaçao. The full proceeds will support the foundation’s activities for sick children, elderly people, individuals with dementia, and people with intellectual disabilities. Through their visits, CliniClowns aim to bring comfort, distraction and moments of joy to those who need it most.

The 18-hole tournament was once again won by team PRGV, a long-time design partner and sponsor of CliniClowns. This year also marked the introduction of a new 9-hole tournament, designed to make the event more accessible to a broader group of participants. The first edition of the 9-hole competition was won by the team Onshore Golfers.
As in previous years, the unique trophies awarded to the winners were designed and created by local artist Giovanni Abath of 7.1 Experience.
In addition to the tournament itself, funds were raised through sponsor contributions, participant fees, a chipping contest and a raffle, all contributing to the record total. The organization emphasized that the funds are of great importance, as CliniClowns Curaçao relies entirely on fundraising, sponsorships and donations.
The foundation expressed its gratitude to all participants, sponsors and volunteers who contributed to the success of the event and the positive atmosphere throughout the day. Special thanks were extended to the Curaçao Golf & Squash Club for its hospitality and collaboration.
CliniClowns Curaçao is already looking ahead to the next edition of the tournament, scheduled for 2027.
