WILLEMSTAD - SCR Director of Sales, Groups and Conventions, Mrs. Kimberly Fecunda-Janga, has received a Certificate of Recognition from the City of Los Angeles, signed by Mayor Karen Bass. The honor was presented on the occasion of the CARICON Poetry Slam Curaçao.
The certificate commends Mrs. Fecunda-Janga for her “outstanding hospitality and commitment to Caribbean cultural excellence,” highlighting her role in creating a welcoming space for artists, poets, and cultural leaders from across the Caribbean diaspora to come together in fellowship. It further recognizes that her partnership efforts on behalf of Sandals Royal Curaçao help strengthen the cultural bridge between the Caribbean and Los Angeles.
Mayor Bass expressed her appreciation, stating, “As Mayor of Los Angeles, I extend my sincere appreciation for these contributions.” The CARICON Poetry Slam Curaçao will take place on March 21 at Wintertuin, Teatro Aula Habaai.
