WILLEMSTAD – Samiah Booi has been crowned Miss International Curaçao 2026 and will represent the island at the prestigious Miss International 2026 pageant in Tokyo, Japan, this November.
The coronation ceremony took place on June 26, bringing together invited guests, sponsors and members of the community for an elegant yet intimate celebration.

During the event, Marilse Statie, the licensee and national director of Miss International Curaçao, expressed her confidence in Booi's ability to serve as a strong ambassador for the island on the international stage.
One of the highlights of the evening was Booi's acceptance speech, in which she reflected on her journey to the crown and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to represent Curaçao. She spoke about the importance of personal growth, community involvement and her commitment to showcasing the island with pride during the international competition.
The ceremony also featured a musical performance by violinist Clari Montero, adding a festive touch to the evening's program.
Booi will now begin preparations for the Miss International 2026 final, which is scheduled to take place on November 25, 2026, in Tokyo, Japan, where contestants from around the world will compete for one of the world's most prestigious beauty titles.
