WILLEMSTAD – On Monday, March 16, 2026, the director of the Salu pa Tur Foundation, Marhainska Sakoetoe, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Curaçao, His Excellency Lucille George-Wout.
Sakoetoe was accompanied by the foundation’s board chairman, Jules Pieters, and financial officer Esther de Faria.
The Salu pa Tur Foundation is dedicated to providing free medical care to uninsured and undocumented immigrants in Curaçao. During the visit, discussions focused on the foundation’s work and its social impact on the community.
The meeting also highlighted the efforts of medical and support staff who contribute to the foundation and its patients, as well as the broader importance of these services for public health in Curaçao.
The foundation’s activities were recognized as a strong example of compassion and social commitment, particularly in the face of ongoing financial challenges.
