WILLEMSTAD – Public Works Service (OW) have announced that road maintenance works will begin on Thursday, May 21, on Dr. J.W.M. Diemont Street in the Jandoret area of Curaçao.
The repair works are expected to last one week and will focus on restoring sections of the roadway that are currently in poor condition.
The project will be carried out by Ortela General Contractors N.V..
Authorities said residents and businesses in the area will continue to have normal access to their homes and establishments while the work is underway.
For other motorists who regularly use the road, alternative routes will be made available and clearly marked with orange barriers and traffic signs to guide traffic.
OW are urging all drivers to proceed with caution and follow traffic instructions to ensure safety during the maintenance period.
