WILLEMSTAD – The Public Works Department (OW) has announced that road maintenance works will begin on Monday, February 23, 2026, in the Sabana Cras area. The works will take place along Kaya Campeshi, Kaya Cohara, and Kaya Castaña and are expected to last approximately three weeks.
According to the Servisio pa Obra Públiko, the project involves resurfacing sections of roads that are currently in poor condition. The execution of the works has been assigned to contractor Succespro.
During the maintenance period, residents and businesses located in the area will continue to have normal access to their homes and establishments. For other motorists who usually use these roads, alternative routes will be provided and clearly indicated by traffic controllers and signage.
OW is urging all motorists to drive with caution while the works are underway.
