Rib’e Lugá Organizes Extra Registration Day After Strong Public Response

Local, | By Correspondent July 9, 2026

WILLEMSTAD – Rib’e Lugá will organize an additional registration day on Saturday, July 11, 2026, following strong public interest during its previous registration event on June 27.

The extra registration day will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Admissions Organization at Prinsenstraat 90 in Punda. The event is being organized by the Rib’e Lugá team in cooperation with the Admissions Organization.

During the previous registration day, many people made use of the opportunity to receive free assistance with their registration and ask questions about their personal situation. According to the organizers, the high turnout showed that there is significant interest in the Rib’e Lugá program, a temporary process aimed at the legalization of undocumented persons living in Curaçao.

On July 11, people will again be able to receive free help with their registration. Staff from Rib’e Lugá and the Admissions Organization will be present to assist with applications, answer questions and provide information about the process.

Through Rib’e Lugá, eligible persons can register for one of three residence purposes: employment, own business or self-employment, and family reunification or family formation.

Those who wish to register must bring all required documents for the residence purpose for which they are applying. They must also bring proof of payment of the required fees and charges. Payment at the Admissions Organization will not be possible during the registration day.

Rib’e Lugá is urging everyone who wants to register or has questions about the program to attend the event and come prepared with all necessary documents.

Rib’e Lugá is a temporary registration and legalization program for undocumented persons residing in Curaçao. Through the program, individuals who meet the conditions can apply for a temporary residence permit.
