WILLEMSTAD – The registration period for the Rib’e Lugá program will be extended due to continued interest and the need for practical assistance during the registration process.
The new closing date will be announced through the official Rib’e Lugá communication channels.
During the extended period, individuals who qualify for the program can continue to register directly through www.ribeluga.cw. Rib’e Lugá emphasizes that no intermediary is required to submit an application.
To make the process more accessible, additional registration days will again be organized at the Admission Organization. Registration sessions will also be held in different neighborhoods so that support is available closer to the target group.
People who require assistance can also schedule an appointment through the Rib’e Lugá website.
The extension follows the first milestone of the program, with the first three residence decisions being issued to minor siblings on July 30.
According to Rib’e Lugá, the continued registration opportunities are intended to ensure that eligible persons receive adequate information, guidance and accessible assistance throughout the process.
Rib’e Lugá is a temporary registration and legalization program for undocumented residents of Curaçao who, if they meet the conditions, can qualify for a temporary residence permit.
The program is part of the government’s efforts to gain a clearer understanding of the undocumented population and develop more effective long-term migration policies.
Rib’e Lugá is calling on all persons who believe they fall under the program to use the extended registration period, seek information and submit their registration in a timely manner.
