WILLEMSTAD – Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort has unveiled its newly renovated Atrium, introducing an upgraded venue designed for meetings, events and celebrations.
As the resort’s largest banquet space, the 335-square-meter Atrium is located in the heart of the hotel. The renovation is one of several improvement projects completed at the resort over the past year and was designed to create a more sophisticated event setting while improving the space’s functionality and flexibility.
Among the upgrades are new sound-reducing window coverings in guest rooms surrounding the Atrium, along with a new wall intended to minimize noise impact. According to the resort, the improvements make it possible to accommodate events with extended hours later into the evening while reducing disturbances to hotel guests.
New carpeting has also been installed throughout the Atrium, completing the venue’s refreshed appearance.
The project was completed in early August. Rather than immediately holding a large public launch, the resort initially introduced the renovated space to local clients who regularly book meeting and event facilities.
Building on that introduction, Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort hosted its annual holiday-season showcase, “Unwrap the Season,” bringing together local event planners for an evening highlighting the Atrium’s new look and previewing the resort’s menus and event offerings for the 2026 holiday season.
Guests were treated to holiday-inspired food stations, beverages and live music while experiencing the resort’s event services.
Clients who secure dates for events during the upcoming holiday season will also have access to exclusive incentives and preferred room rates.
According to Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort, selecting an event venue involves more than choosing a physical space. The atmosphere, overall experience and first impression made on guests are also important elements.
With the renovated Atrium, the resort says it can accommodate a wide range of occasions, from intimate gatherings and corporate meetings to larger celebrations and late-night festivities.
Although “Unwrap the Season” focused on the upcoming holiday period, the renovated Atrium and the resort’s event team are available throughout the year for meetings, celebrations and other events.
