WILLEMSTAD – On Monday, April 20, 2026, board members and representatives of the Reef Renewal Foundation Curaçao (RRFC) paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Curaçao, His Excellency Mauritsz de Kort.
The delegation included board members Jeremiah Peek, Pol Bosch, and Andre Steg, along with team members Tripp Funderburk, Chris Lippens, Jeroen Schneider, and Indy van Arkel.
During the meeting, the Governor was briefed on the organization’s work and its ongoing contributions to the restoration of Curaçao’s coral reefs. The discussion also highlighted the importance of collaboration between volunteer organizations, as well as partnerships with government institutions, to ensure the long-term recovery and protection of marine ecosystems.
The visit underscored the growing role of environmental initiatives in safeguarding Curaçao’s natural resources and promoting sustainable management of its underwater biodiversity.
