WILLEMSTAD - Young people from Curaçao can once again sign up for the Curaçaoan military training program. Through a new recruitment campaign, Defence Caribbean Region aims to encourage young people aged 18 to 27 to pursue this training to join the Military in Curaçao.
To give young people a clear idea of the training and the work, various activities are being organized in the coming period. These include information sessions at schools and the presence of Curaçaoan military personnel at career fairs and other events where young people can explore and orient their future options.
The Curaçaoan Military (CURMIL) is an operational unit placed under the command of the Commander of Naval Forces in the Caribbean (CZMCARIB). This unit can be deployed to support the three core tasks of Defence in the Caribbean Region. Personnel serve as civil servants of the Country of Curaçao while being seconded to CZMCARIB.
Interested in signing up for the Curaçaoan military training? You can do so from now until the end of December via https://werkenbijdefensie.nl/curmil
