WILLEMSTAD – The Regulatory Authority Curaçao (RAC) has officially presented its 2025 Annual Report to Minister of Traffic, Transport and Urban Planning Charles Cooper.

The report, titled “Impact,” highlights the regulator’s activities and financial performance during 2025 and focuses on the influence RAC says its work has on Curaçao’s broader community and economic development.

According to RAC, international audit firm EY signed an unqualified approval statement for the organization’s financial statements on April 16, 2026, the same day the annual report was finalized.

During the presentation ceremony, RAC director Curt Belfor provided an overview of the authority’s activities throughout 2025 and explained the central theme of the report.

Belfor emphasized the impact RAC’s regulatory work has across different sectors on Curaçao, including telecommunications and other regulated services.

Representatives of EY also presented the principal conclusions from their audit during the meeting.

RAC reported a positive financial result of 9 million guilders for 2025. According to the authority, the surplus reflects the effectiveness of the regulatory work carried out by RAC employees across multiple areas.

At the conclusion of the presentation, Belfor formally handed the annual report to Minister Cooper and to Sueena Francisco, chairwoman of RAC’s Supervisory Board.
