WILLEMSTAD – The Public Works Department (Openbare Werken - OW) has announced that road maintenance and excavation work is currently underway at several locations across Curaçao as part of ongoing efforts to improve the island's infrastructure.
According to OW, work is currently being carried out on the following roads:
- Nestorweg
- Monreposweg
- Paradijs Phase 2
- Kaya Trektor
- Jandoret
- Mahuma
- Kaya Noord Sapateer
In addition to the maintenance works, road marking operations are being prepared for:
- Pater Andres Belloweg
- Winston Churchillweg
The department said the projects are being executed in phases to minimize inconvenience to motorists and nearby residents.
Road users are advised to follow all posted detours and traffic signs and to allow extra travel time, as temporary delays may occur while the work is in progress.
Public Works thanked the public for its patience, understanding and cooperation as the infrastructure improvement projects continue across the island.
