WILLEMSTAD – A public auction of industrial equipment and machinery will take place on April 24, 2026, at the Nieuwe Haven Industrial Park (Unit N.J-3), organized at the request of the Ministry of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning (VVRP).
A wide range of items will be offered for sale, including heavy machinery and tools such as a large column drilling machine, planing machines, table saws, band saws, generators, compressors, welding equipment, and lighting towers. The auction will also feature defective heavy equipment, including mini excavators and larger loaders, as well as a significant quantity of metal storage racks and steel construction materials.
Interested buyers will have the opportunity to inspect certain items in advance. Heavy equipment such as loaders can be viewed on April 23 at the Kleinhofje wastewater treatment facility between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Additional materials, including metal racks and machinery, will be available for inspection at DOW Parera between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Remaining items can be viewed on the day of the auction at the Nieuwe Haven site between 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
The auction itself will begin at 10:15 a.m. Participants are required to register with a valid form of identification. Payments must be made by card, and all items will be sold in their current condition.
Once payment is completed, buyers will receive a receipt and can immediately collect their purchased items.
Authorities expect interest from both businesses and individuals, as the auction offers an opportunity to acquire industrial equipment and materials at competitive prices.
