WILLEMSTAD – Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas held a meeting with a group of young athletes who have distinguished themselves in various sports, emphasizing the importance of youth development for the future of Curaçao.
The meeting took place on March 26 and brought together participants from the “The Prospects of Curaçao” program. In what was described as an open and inspiring dialogue, the young athletes shared their experiences, ambitions and the challenges they face in pursuing their sporting careers.

During the discussion, Pisas underlined the value of sports not only for physical development but also for mental well-being and character building. He stressed that investing in young people is essential for building a stronger and more resilient society.
The athletes, in turn, expressed pride in the work being carried out by the government and voiced their support as the country navigates ongoing challenges.
