WILLEMSTAD – Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas met on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, with Ambassador Lise Gregoire-van Haaren, the Kingdom of the Netherlands’ Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York.
Ambassador Gregoire-van Haaren is currently visiting Curaçao as part of a familiarization trip to the island.
During the meeting, the ambassador provided Prime Minister Pisas with an update on her work and activities at the United Nations. The discussion also touched on ongoing reforms within the UN and the potential for Curaçao to receive greater support from international organizations such as the United Nations in areas related to sustainable development.
