Local, Police, | By Correspondent May 29, 2026

WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Police Force (KPC) has renewed its public appeal for information regarding the disappearance of Miyoulène Valerie Tamara Martis, who has been missing since October 2025.

According to police, Martis, who was born in the Netherlands on November 8, 1993, was staying in Curaçao when she was reported missing last year. Investigators are once again asking members of the public to come forward with any information that could assist in locating her or determining her whereabouts.

In a newly issued missing persons notice, police emphasized that the investigation remains active and that any detail, no matter how small, could prove valuable.

Authorities describe Martis as being approximately 1.60 meters tall with an average build, a light brown complexion, and an oval-shaped face. She also has a tattoo on her right wrist, which police say may help with identification.

The renewed appeal comes several months after her disappearance was first reported and reflects the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to gather new leads in the case.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen Martis, has information about her whereabouts, or knows someone who may have been in contact with her, to contact authorities immediately.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police emergency number 917.

Investigators have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance but continue to encourage public cooperation as they work to locate the missing woman.
