WILLEMSTAD – Police have recovered several stolen vehicle parts as part of an ongoing investigation into a vehicle parts theft that took place on June 24 on Kaya Rankil.
According to the Curaçao Police Force, officers confiscated multiple car parts during the investigation, including a bumper that was confirmed to have been stolen in the reported theft.
Investigators also revealed that the suspects fled the scene on the day of the incident, leaving behind a dark-colored Kia Rio bumper.
Police have published photographs of the recovered Hyundai and Kia Rio bumpers, which they believe originated from vehicle thefts, in the hope of identifying their rightful owners.
Anyone who recognizes one of the recovered bumpers as belonging to their vehicle is urged to contact the Vehicle Theft Investigation Team by calling 724-6232 or the emergency number 917.
The investigation remains ongoing. Police have not disclosed whether any arrests have been made in connection with the case.
