WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao police have arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with the theft of car parts in the Telamonstraat area earlier this year. Police said additional arrests in the investigation have not been ruled out.
The theft occurred sometime between June 22 and June 24, 2026.
On Thursday, September 24, at approximately 7:10 a.m., officers from the Rio Canario police station located a suspect believed to be connected to the case.
The man, identified by his initials G.G.S., was arrested on St. Johnsweg. He was born in Curaçao and is 26 years old.
Following his arrest, the suspect was brought before an assistant public prosecutor, who ordered that he remain in custody pending further investigation.
Police said the investigation is continuing and that more arrests could follow.
