PNP Demands Answers as Concerns Grow Over Missing Curaçao House Employee

Local, Politics, The Netherlands, | By Correspondent June 9, 2026

WILLEMSTAD – PNP Member of Parliament Sheldry Osepa is demanding answers from the government regarding the disappearance of Curaçao House employee Jordan Pietersz, whose whereabouts have reportedly remained unknown for nearly two weeks.

In a letter addressed to Prime Minister Gilmar “Pik” Pisas, Osepa expressed concern over what he describes as a troubling lack of information surrounding Pietersz's disappearance. According to the parliamentarian, family members, friends and acquaintances have been unable to contact him, while no recent transactions or other signs have surfaced that could help determine his location.

“After nearly two weeks, there has still been no sign of life from him,” Osepa stated.

The case has attracted attention because Pietersz had previously raised concerns about alleged irregularities within the Curaçao House in The Hague. According to Osepa, the employee had shared information about what he considered misconduct within the organization and subsequently faced difficulties in his employment situation.

The PNP parliamentarian claims that Pietersz's salary was suspended late last year and argues that the circumstances surrounding his disappearance warrant urgent attention from the authorities.

Osepa described the situation as deeply concerning and said the government should take an active role in assisting efforts to locate the missing employee. He has requested clarification from Prime Minister Pisas on whether any formal procedures are underway regarding Pietersz's employment status and what actions, if any, are being taken to help determine his whereabouts.

The opposition legislator also emphasized that both Pietersz and his family deserve answers.

The government has not yet publicly responded to the questions raised by Osepa, and no official information has been released regarding the circumstances of Pietersz's disappearance.

As concern continues to grow among relatives and acquaintances, calls are increasing for greater transparency and for authorities to provide updates on any efforts being made to locate the missing Curaçao House employee.
