SANTA FE – Curaçao’s Philip Elhage finished 17th in the men’s 10-meter air pistol individual event at the South American Games in Santa Fe, representing the island in international shooting competition.
Elhage recorded a score of 553-11x during the competition. The result was not enough to secure a place in the final, leaving the Curaçao shooter in 17th position overall.
Despite missing qualification for the final round, Elhage’s participation marked another international appearance representing Curaçao in the sport.
His performance in Santa Fe reflects the continued presence of Curaçao athletes at regional competitions, where they compete against some of the leading athletes from South America.
Elhage will leave the men’s 10m air pistol event with a final score of 553-11x and a 17th-place finish.
