WILLEMSTAD – Percy Pinedo has completed his assignment as Corporate Communications Advisor to the Curaçao Football Federation (FFK), following the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup.
Pinedo was appointed to oversee and coordinate the federation’s communications surrounding Curaçao’s historic participation in the World Cup. With the tournament now over, he has made his position available again to the FFK board.
His assignment came during an unprecedented period for Curaçao football, as the national team competed on the sport’s biggest international stage and attracted significant attention both locally and internationally.
In a statement announcing the end of his assignment, Pinedo thanked the FFK board for the confidence placed in him during the World Cup campaign.
He also expressed his appreciation to the players, coaching and support staff, as well as the supporters who backed the national team throughout its historic journey.
Pinedo said he looks back on the period with pride and wished the federation continued success as it works on the further development of football in Curaçao.
His departure marks the conclusion of the communications assignment specifically connected to Curaçao’s World Cup participation.
