WILLEMSTAD – The Council of Ministers has taken note of a written request from the MAN-PIN parliamentary faction asking the Curaçao Audit Chamber (ARC) to conduct an investigation into the government accounting office SOAB.
According to information discussed during the Council of Ministers meeting on March 11, the request was formally submitted in a letter dated February 12, 2026. The letter was sent by the President of Parliament to the President of the Audit Chamber.
The request from the opposition faction calls for the ARC to investigate SOAB, the government’s accounting and advisory body responsible for auditing and financial oversight within the public sector.
The matter was brought to the attention of the Council of Ministers through the Ministry of General Affairs. The government noted the request but did not announce further decisions regarding the investigation.
