Ombudsman Launches Survey Among Civil Servants on Enforcement of Court Rulings

| By Correspondent March 19, 2026

WILLEMSTAD – The Ombudsman of Curaçao has launched a survey targeting current and former civil servants as part of an ongoing investigation into how government institutions implement court rulings.

The survey forms part of a broader inquiry that began in 2025, focusing on whether judicial decisions are being properly enforced by the government. The initiative aims to gather practical insights from those working within the public sector.

According to the Ombudsman, input from civil servants is essential to understanding how court rulings are handled in practice and to what extent they are effectively carried out across government agencies.

The findings of the survey are expected to play a key role in shaping the Ombudsman’s final conclusions on the matter.

Participation in the survey is voluntary, anonymous, and designed to be easy to complete. Current and former civil servants can access the questionnaire through the Ombudsman’s official website, with the link also being shared عبر the institution’s communication channels.

The Ombudsman is encouraging broad participation to ensure the results are representative and provide a reliable picture of how judicial decisions are implemented within the public sector.
