WILLEMSTAD – The Public Works Department (OW) will begin cleaning the Emancipatie Boulevard Dominico F. “Don” Martina on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The work will cover the stretch from Nieuwe Haven to Biesheuvel and is expected to take approximately two weeks.
Care & Solve General Services has been contracted to carry out the cleaning work.
The road will remain open to traffic throughout the project. However, motorists are being urged to drive carefully and reduce their speed because workers will be operating alongside the roadway.
Public Works is asking drivers to remain alert when passing through the work areas to help ensure the safety of the crews carrying out the cleaning.
The project is expected to be completed approximately two weeks after work begins.
