WILLEMSTAD – Acting Governor of Curaçao Ruthsella Jansen administered the oath of office to M.W. Zandbergen on Monday, October 5, formally installing him as a member of the Joint Court of Justice.
The swearing-in ceremony took place in the presence of several representatives of the judiciary, including President of the Joint Court of Justice Sigmar Carmelia.
Judicial colleagues Ingrid Tubben, Gerard Lewin and Corrie ter Veer were also present for the ceremony.
The Joint Court of Justice serves Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten, as well as the Caribbean Netherlands islands of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba.
With the administration of the oath by the Acting Governor, Zandbergen formally assumes his position as a member of the Court.
