WILLEMSTAD – An accident involving several parked vehicles occurred Wednesday afternoon at a supermarket parking lot in Brievengat. Police received a report of the incident around 3:00 p.m. and dispatched a patrol to the parking area near Bon Biní Supermarket.
Upon arrival, officers found that a Kia Rio had driven over a speed bump separating the roadway from the parking area. The vehicle then landed on a parked SUV. The force of the impact pushed the SUV forward, causing it to collide with another stationary vehicle.
According to initial information, the female driver of the Kia reportedly felt unwell while driving, which may have caused her to lose control of the vehicle. Significant damage was reported to the vehicles involved.
Police and ForenSys responded to the scene to investigate the circumstances of the accident and provide assistance. No further details have been released regarding possible injuries.
