More Than 600 Motorcycles Expected for Easy Riders’ Flag Day Island Tour

Local, | By Correspondent June 23, 2026

WILLEMSTAD – Motor club Easy Riders is expecting more than 600 motorcycles to participate in a major island-wide ride on July 2, Curaçao’s National Anthem and Flag Day, as part of celebrations marking the organization’s 30th anniversary.

According to Easy Riders chairman Jairo Silberie, a large number of participants will be arriving from abroad, continuing a tradition that has become a hallmark of the club’s annual gathering. Because many visiting riders are unfamiliar with Curaçao’s road network, the organization is asking motorists and other road users to exercise patience and share the road responsibly during the event.

The motorcycle caravan will depart from Bati Paña at Nicatia Kade and travel along various routes across the island. Easy Riders estimates that approximately 90 percent of Curaçao’s motorcyclists will take part in the ride, making it one of the largest motorcycle events ever held on the island.

This year’s tour marks the 27th time the club has organized such a ride and is expected to be one of the highlights of the anniversary celebrations.

The festivities will begin on June 25 and continue through the first week of July. On July 3, organizers will host a gathering during which motorcycles belonging to international participants will be prepared and loaded for their return journeys overseas. The celebrations will conclude with an afterparty at Bati Paña.

Easy Riders emphasized that the event is open to all two-wheeled vehicles, provided participants comply with Curaçao’s traffic laws and safety regulations. Riders are required to wear helmets and carry valid vehicle documentation. Dangerous behavior, including performing stunts on public roads, will not be tolerated.

In addition to the motorcycle festivities, Easy Riders is organizing a special raffle to commemorate its 30th anniversary. Participants will have the chance to win an electric Geely vehicle, which has been donated by sponsor Star Motors.

The club expects the anniversary celebrations to attract motorcycle enthusiasts from across the Caribbean, North America, South America and Europe, further reinforcing the event’s reputation as one of the largest annual motorcycle gatherings in the Dutch Caribbean.
