Minister Cooper Attends Intertraffic Amsterdam to Explore Innovations in Mobility

AMSTERDAM – Minister of Traffic, Transport and Urban Planning Charles Cooper recently attended the international trade fair Intertraffic Amsterdam, held at the RAI Amsterdam, to explore the latest developments in mobility and infrastructure.

Intertraffic Amsterdam is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading platforms for professionals in the mobility and traffic sector. The event brings together governments, companies, and knowledge institutions, offering a comprehensive overview of the latest products, services, and innovative solutions related to smart, safe, and sustainable mobility.

This year’s edition featured more than 900 exhibitors, over 30,000 professionals from more than 145 countries, and approximately 100 knowledge sessions, making it a key meeting point for decision-makers and industry experts.

During his visit, Minister Cooper focused on developments and innovations relevant to Curaçao. Key topics included intelligent traffic systems, climate-resilient infrastructure, road safety, and future mobility solutions.

The ministry stated that the knowledge gained and international contacts established during the event are expected to contribute to strengthening mobility management and infrastructure development on the island.

Minister Cooper emphasized the importance of international cooperation and knowledge exchange, noting that participation in platforms such as Intertraffic helps Curaçao stay up to date with global trends and apply innovative solutions within the local context.

The Ministry of Traffic, Transport and Urban Planning reaffirmed its commitment to improving infrastructure and mobility in Curaçao, drawing on international best practices to build a safer, more sustainable, and future-ready system.
