WILLEMSTAD – Minister of Health, Environment and Nature Tyron Boekhoudt paid an introductory visit on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, to the Curaçao International Clinic, located at Landhuis Pos Cabai. The Sahoury Pain Clinic operates as part of the Curaçao International Clinic.
During the visit, the minister was given a guided tour of the facility, allowing him to gain an overview of the range of specialized medical services currently offered by the clinic.

These include orthopedic care with a focus on hip and knee replacements, specialized pain management for chronic pain using modern, multidisciplinary treatment methods, dermatology services for medical skin conditions such as acne and eczema as well as cosmetic skin care, and ophthalmology services that are currently being developed, including cataract surgery.
According to the ministry, the availability of specialized care at facilities such as Curaçao International Clinic plays an important role in improving patients’ quality of life on the island. It also contributes to reducing waiting times within the broader healthcare system.
As Minister of Health, Environment and Nature, Boekhoudt emphasized his commitment to strengthening cooperation between public and private healthcare providers, with quality, accessibility, and collaboration as key principles.
The minister expressed his appreciation to the clinic’s leadership, under the direction of Pascal Sahoury, for the warm reception and the detailed explanation of the clinic’s services.
