WILLEMSTAD – The Raad voor de Rechtshandhaving recorded a financial deficit in 2025 despite receiving more than 3.3 million Caribbean guilders in funding from participating countries.
According to the financial statements, total expenditures exceeded income, resulting in a net loss of approximately 175,000 guilders.
Personnel costs accounted for the largest share of expenses, followed by operational costs such as travel, housing and external services.
The report highlights ongoing financial pressures, particularly in Sint Maarten, where funding has consistently fallen below the requested budget, affecting operations.
