WILLEMSTAD – Maduro & Curiel’s Bank has awarded MCB Art Scholarships to ambassadors and finalists of the Children’s Carnival, Tiener Carnival, the Grand Carnival, and Tumba Hubenil. The bank announced the recognitions in a press release.

As part of the initiative, MCB hosted a special gathering where young artists shared their experiences and reflected on the preparation and performances that led to their participation in the various carnival events. The scholarships are intended to support the recipients’ artistic development, allowing them to invest further in disciplines such as dance, music, theater, or visual arts.

According to Maduro & Curiel’s Bank, the scholarships form part of its broader commitment to promoting arts and culture among young people and strengthening creativity within the community. The bank congratulated all award recipients and encouraged them to continue developing their talents and pursuing their artistic ambitions.

The MCB Art Scholarship initiative highlights the role of cultural events such as Carnival in nurturing young creative talent and providing opportunities for artistic growth in Curaçao.
