WILLEMSTAD – The renovation of Marshe Rondó (the round market in Willemstad) is entering its final phase, and the historic market is expected to reopen its doors soon, according to the organization behind the project.
In a public message, the market expressed gratitude to residents and visitors for their patience, understanding and support throughout the renovation process.
“Good things take time,” the organization stated, adding that the team has been working with dedication to complete a renewed space that honors the heart, culture and traditions of Curaçao.
The renovation project aims to give Marshe Rondó a new chapter while preserving its importance as a cultural and community landmark.
The organization did not announce an official reopening date but encouraged the public to stay informed as preparations move toward completion.
“Stay tuned, a new chapter for our Marshe is on the way,” the message stated.
