WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao recorded an increase in marriages and a decrease in divorces in 2025, according to new figures released by Minister of Governance, Planning and Public Service Shalten Hato.

A total of 502 marriages were registered on the island in 2025, marking a notable rise compared to 451 marriages in 2024. At the same time, the number of divorces declined from 305 in 2024 to 282 in 2025.
