WILLEMSTAD – The Public Works Department (OW) has announced that road maintenance work will begin on Kaminda pa Fuik starting Monday, July 27, 2026. The project is expected to take approximately three weeks and will be carried out in phases.
The work will involve resurfacing sections of the road that are currently in poor condition. Civil & Roadworks Alliance has been contracted to execute the project.
During the construction period, residents and businesses located in the area will continue to have normal access to their homes and establishments. Other motorists who regularly use the road will be directed to alternative routes, with detours indicated through traffic signs and barriers.
OW is asking all motorists to drive carefully and remain alert when traveling through the area while the maintenance work is underway.
