WILLEMSTAD – Preparations for Kaya Kaya 2026 are moving forward as organizers and stakeholders begin planning for the next edition of the popular cultural event in Otrobanda.
A meeting was recently held with representatives of Kaya Kaya to discuss the latest developments and review the preparations for this year’s edition. During the meeting, participants reflected on the experiences and successes of previous editions and discussed how these lessons will contribute to an even stronger event in 2026.

The organizers emphasized the importance of continued collaboration to create a memorable experience for the community of Otrobanda, residents of Curaçao and visitors to the island.
Kaya Kaya has developed into one of Curaçao’s most recognized cultural events, bringing together music, art, local culture, gastronomy and community participation. The annual event aims to highlight Otrobanda’s heritage while creating opportunities for local entrepreneurs, artists and residents.
