WILLEMSTAD – The Joint Court of Justice has launched a large-scale modernization of its IT infrastructure after concluding that its digital environment had become outdated and vulnerable.
According to the Court’s Annual Report 2025, the project called “Modern Workplace” focuses on improving cybersecurity, operational continuity and digital collaboration across all judicial locations.
The modernization includes migration to Microsoft 365 and Intune cloud systems, bringing the Court in line with international information security standards.
All employees have already received new laptops, docking stations, peripherals and dual-monitor workstations. The Court says the new setup also enables hybrid working.
The migration to the cloud environment was completed in December 2025, while additional optimization work will continue throughout 2026.
According to the Court, the project will allow employees to work securely from different locations while simplifying IT management and strengthening data protection.
